Itinerary
DAY 1 WEDNESDAY OR FRIDAY
Los Angeles- Santa Barbara Lompoc/San Luis Obispo
Depart for the California coast. En-route to the Lompoc area, explore Santa Barbara which is often referred to as the pearl of the “American Riviera”. The city is known for its Spanish Colonial style architecture. Late afternoon arrival in the Lompoc area.
DAY 2 THURSDAY OR SATURDAY
Lompoc/San Luis Obispo - Carmel/Monterey -San Francisco
Travel to Monterey, California’s first capital. After a stop in this beautiful town, travel along stunning 17- Mile Drive known for its beautiful views and distinctive fauna. Then visit the quaint and charming village of Carmel before arriving in San Francisco with its beautiful views, famous cable cars, parks and the Golden Gate Bridge.
DAY 3 FRIDAY OR SUNDAY
San Francisco
Morning sightseeing of one of the most beautiful cities in America: highlights include Union Square, Chinatown, Golden Gate Park and Fisherman’s Wharf with a view of infamous Alcatraz Island across the bay. Afternoon at leisure .
DAY 4 SATURDAY OR MONDAY
San Francisco- Yosemite -Fresno
Early departure for Yosemite National Park, the second National Park in the nation and the most popular natural tourist destination in California. In the late afternoon, travel through the fertile San Joaquin Valley known as the fruit bowl of the nation, to Fresno.
DAY 5 SUNDAY OR TUESDAY
Fresno - Las Vegas
Travel through the farming communities around Bakersfield and continue across the Mojave Desert and into Las Vegas.
DAY 6 MONDAY OR WEDNESDAY
Las Vegas
Day of leisure in Las Vegas.
DAY 7 TUESDAY OR THURSDAY
Las Vegas -Zion h Bryce -Kanab - Page/Lake Powell
Early morning departure for a visit to Zion National Park, famous for its unique landscapes and majestic plateaus. Continue on to Bryce Canyon, a spectacular canyon with a symphony of colors and shapes that leaves visitors breathless. Later in the afternoon, travel through Kanab, before continuing to Page.
DAY 8 WEDNESDAY OR FRIDAY
Page/Lake Powell -Grand Canyon - Flagstaff
Visit Page and Lake Powell before continuing to the Grand Canyon, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Enjoy the breathtaking panoramas from the Canyon’s South Rim. Arrive in the Arizona town of Flagstaff, located on famous Route 66, for the evening.
DAY 9 THURSDAY OR SATURDAY
Flagstaff -Sedona Phoenix/Scottsdale
Morning departure, passing through Oak Creek Canyon and continuing to the city of Sedona. The area, known for its spectacular landscapes, has been the setting of many movies. Later, drive through the garden desert of Arizona, visiting Montezuma’s Castle, an ancient Indian cliff dwelling of the Sinagua tribe. Discover the unique charm of the desert oasis, Phoenix/ Scottsdale.
DAY 10 FRIDAY OR SUNDAY
Phoenix/Scottsdale - Los Angeles
Enjoy the scenery while traveling through the Mojave Desert across the Colorado River and before arriving again in the city of Los Angeles.
