Itinerary
DAY 1 SUNDAY
Boston - Niagara Falls Morning orientation tour of Boston. Highlights include Faneuil Hall, Boston Common and Harvard University. Departing from Boston through the states of Massachusetts and Connecticut before arriving into Niagara Falls in early evening.
DAY 2 MONDAY
Niagara Falls - Williamsport Area Cross the boarder into Canada for sightseeing of Niagara Falls - one of the seven natural wonders of the world. After lunch drive through the rolling farmlands of New York State to Pennsylvania where the jorney continues south through the Appalachian Mountains towards Williamsport.
DAY 3 TUESDAY
Williamsport Area - Lancaster - Washington, DC area Follow the course of the picturesque Susquehanna River, the longest non-navigable river east of the Mississippi, to Harrisburg, capital of Pennsylvania before heading east into Pennsylvania Dutch Country, home to many Amish families. Learn more about how they preserve traditional elements of late 17th-century European rural culture in their day-to-day lives during a visit to an Amish homestead. The tour then continues to Washington, D.C.
DAY 4 WEDNESDAY
Washington, DC The morning sightseeing tour is devoted to the landmarks and monuments of this great city: the White House, the Washington Monument, Arlington Cemetery and the US Capitol. The afternoon is free.
DAY 5 THURSDAY
Washington, DC area- Philadelphia - New York Area Travel north to Philadelphia, the “City of Brotherly Love” and the birthplace of American independence. The orientation tour passes the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed and the U.S. Constitution was written. Arrive in New Jersey just across the Hudson River from New York City in early afternoon.
DAY 6 FRIDAY
New York Continental Breakfast. In the morning, a short trip across the Hudson River takes the tour into New York for an orientation tour of the “Big Apple”. Spend the afternoon at leisure exploring this amazing city. Transportation back to the hotel will be offered in the early evening.
DAY 7 SATURDAY
New York Area - Boston Depart north into the New England states of Connecticut and Massachusetts. Upon arrival in Boston, enjoy an orientation tour of this fascinating and historic city. Highlights include Faneuil Hall, Boston Common and Harvard University. Tour ends with drop-off at the hotel.
